Find Your Voice By Embracing Your Desires

Hello, beautiful!

Do you ever find yourself pulling back, tempering your wants and needs to accommodate others? You may end up stifling your voice, hesitant to express your desires fully.

If so, you can also feel that suppressing your voice is hard on your spirit. I’m here to let you know, gorgeous soul, it’s time to realize how valuable your voice is.

Our voice, our expression, is an integral part of who we are. It’s a reflection of our desires, our values, and our unique perspective. But often, we muffle this voice, fearful of seeming too demanding, too passionate, or too much. This habit can make us feel unsatisfied, unfulfilled, and often misunderstood.

So, how do we change this? The key to accessing a new sense of self-assurance is realizing the innate value of you.

It’s time to intercept the messages you may have received when you were young that have you trading in your voice and distrusting your desires. It’s time to rise within and stake a claim for the guiding force within you.

Here’s an actionable tip to kickstart this journey of unveiling and trusting your authentic self-expression: Start a Desire Journal.

A Desire Journal is a dedicated space to freely express your wants, needs, dreams, and aspirations, with no holds barred. The goal here is not just to write but to do so with the firm belief that your desires are valid, important, and worthy of recognition.

Every day, take a few moments to write down what you truly desire - in your personal life, career, relationships, and even your self-growth journey. Don’t hold back or filter these desires. Allow your authentic voice to fill the pages, unapologetic and unfiltered.

Remember, writing has immense power, and seeing your desires take physical form on paper. It’s a visual affirmation that your wants matter and can embolden you to vocalize them in your everyday life.

My struggles with finding my voice have been deeply supported by starting a Desire Journal, and because of it, I have gradually come to trust my unique expression. As I continue honoring myself this way, I feel more confident expressing myself openly and authentically. The benefits are feeling more understood and fulfilled. I have found an inner peace that resonates deeply within and strengthens my ability to trust myself, allowing for my unique brand of shine.

So, love, are you ready to heal your relationship with your voice and embrace your desires? Remember, your wants and needs matter. Your voice deserves to be heard; the world will be better for it!

Stay radiant, keep growing, and honor your truth!

With all my love,
Kristin McHarg
