Shiva Rea

The source of Prana Vinyasa Yoga. Shiva Rea transmits the power of Shakti in all her aspects, Durga, Saraswati and Lakshmi. She is a fearless leader in the art of listening and allowing the creative impulse to guide her into action. She is a very powerful influence in my life and has been since I met her in 2007. I’ll never forget the look that came from her electric soul that turned me on to the path. She helped me realize how much more bliss and possibility there is and how to align with the auspicious current.

Victoria Laws

My beloved Ashtanga guru “Jayaji”. She changed my life. She held space with fervent devotion for many years at the Telluride Yoga Center. With absolute selflessness, she taught six early morning Mysore classes per week. She gave me true understanding of alignment and breath. She gave me the Ashtanga practice which is still foundational in my practice and gives me the structure and stability that I need. I am eternally grateful for her gift.

Maria Garré

My ayurveda teacher. I studied 150 hours with Maria through the Samudra School of Living Yoga. Ayurveda has become key to informing the wisdom of my choices. Understanding the gunas (qualities) of life energy is profound guidance in thwarting disease and living in harmony.

Jumana Sophia

Jumana, a teacher of the deep feminine arts, has shown me how to truly trust my intuition and inner voice. She has given me the container for belonging and deep self-trust that is innate to my being, yet called for awakening.

I also thank Nancy Stechert, Tim Miller, Annie Pace, Ajay Kumar, and Lama Tsultrim Allione, who have all helped craft the person and teacher that I am today.
